Philomena Cunk's Moments of Wonder - Philosophy

I had a professor way long ago who would say that "The only dumb question is the unasked one." I get it! The whole of Philomena Cunk is full of questions being asked that make the watcher ask "Huh?" She is a character that only the staunchest education snob can't laugh at. And for me trying to get more education, I am continually asking myself "why?" Why am I doing this? What the hell was I thinking? Am I nuts? Why am I not more disciplined/organized? Why can't I figure out how to get the video on here? Why am I beating myself up about this? Should I just quit? I think in various forms we all ask the questions of, and about, ourselves. We want to make a difference. But how do we know if we do/did? Is it something that can be known while we're still alive? Do people only make a difference once they're dead and others start looking at what the person did in their life? Does smiling and saying "hello" to the stranger matter to them? Should we really care if it does, or should we be more concerned about it mattering to ourselves?
